Every morning (well almost every morning) I take a short walk down the street to our very own city park. There are paved trails around the grassed park as well as gravel trails leading up into the foothills above our home. Twice around the park and a mile and a half later gives you a good start to the day. It's quiet and cool in the morning - in other words nothing like
Lumpini.

This past week we had our last "grandma" day before the kids started back to school. Hard to believe
that the summer is nearly over, but once school starts it seems to be a downhill slide.
I got McDonalds for everyone (again -
too easy) and we all met back at the house for lunch and sprinklers on the trampoline.
This has become a fun tradition, at least for me and I plan to keep it up during the year with the three youngest who are not in school yet. This time, Moms get a break as well.
