Yesterday we headed off to Ikea to look for a new table for the quilt room. We wandered through the office set-ups and found this table with adjustable legs and a covered hole for cords - perfect for my needs. With that purchase I was able to finally get busy and sort through boxes of books, fabric and treasures to finish my favorite room of the whole house. Kim certainly knows what Imean by that. With a TV/DVD added I can hide away for days!
We also got shelves from Ikea (I've decided I love that place) and Roger put them up in the closet (white door below). Much of the fabric is what I took to and then brought back from Bangkok, but it all fit.
I also found out how much batting I have here - a lot. So Kim, Alice's batting is truly all yours! As per Kim's inquiry - the cabinet was bought at auction in 1980 and the kitchen tools on top are from the 1950's and ones my Mom used.
I can't wait to move in!
