The Shipment has Arrived

The lady from the moving company called us on Monday, August lst, to say the shipment was in and would be delivered on Wednesday. Needless to say I was ecstatic until I realized the we had the girls until Thursday. Thinking quickly I figured we could make this work. Set up a folding table and chairs in my bedroom. Load it with books, crayons, paper, puzzles, treats, etc and they
wouldn't even notice all the commotion going on around them. Wrong!

As soon as the doorbell rang and the van drove up the driveway, they were out to see the fun. They were really very good, however, and would even pretend to head towards the bedroom when I, very calmly, told them to get back in the room. We were all excited when Roger finally got home from work and took them off to play with Addy (their cat) then to dinner. For me it was back to work.

After sorting through all 99 boxes, most items are now put away. I have a few boxes full to go to charity/garage sale/kids and a few more with treasures with no place to go but the attachment is too great. I'll store for awhile and the revisit. Slowly the rooms are coming together and I've finished the family room and the entry way room. Next blog will hopefully include my office and
sewing room.
