A pig flew at the Raybould's!

Well never let it be said that pigs don't fly!

Alan hit the kitchen yesterday to cook himself a steak dinner! THis was of course after he asked me how to saute the potatoes!

Here he is chopping away at his onion.

Has anyone else noticed a curious thing about the way men cook? They have to use the biggest implements avaialable.

This Japanese chopper was a wedding present that I have never used as I am unable to finely peel & chop with it. Also, why use two knives? I want a knife I can peel and chop with. But I digress. Just look at the size of that chopper and he is using it on half an onion. Bless him!

The other curious thing I have noticed about Alan and cooking, there is never a bottle too far away, and I don't mean a sauce bottle. Now the wine isn't to add to the steak to make some fancy French dish. No, this is just for swigging. Maybe he needs Dutch courage before tasting his own cooking!

Well, even I had to admit it smelled great. Look how proud he is!

I think there must be something in the water because he actually volunteered to cook a roast chicken lunch. This will probably involve more wine and very loud music.

Really, we have to love our husbands, after all, who else would have them!!!
