Here is another "have to have" in any local parade: the John Deer Tractor. Roger and were once "stuck" in a small down in Wyoming during a parade celebrating who knows what. It was filled with old farm vehicles and WWII jeeps. Sorry for adding a couple more pictures. I'm trying to figure out the best and easiest way to put these blogs together. As my ancestry runs Scottish and British, I love the sound and look of bagpipes. Most every parade I've been to has such a band. Here they were warming up before the parade begins.

Janice, Nobody actually LIKES bagpipe, they are to be endured. It shows an ability to undergo torture, if you are able to listen to them for half an hour without offering to give up all you know AND throw your youngest child in wit the offer!
