Taken yesterday outside Central World. A you can see, not many people siting there. Mind you, in the full blaze of the sun, I'm not sure I would either.
This provided me with a laugh this afternoon. Given that today is Saturday, I had expected lots of people out demonstrating at Asoke. Instead there was the man on the stage, shouting away to a crowd of thousands, hundreds, well maybe about 20 women. You can see them loyally sitting in front of him. I guess he wasn't a riveting speaker!
I am finding this all so interesting. It is certainly different than last time, but with a few people holding down the fort, so to speak, I still don't see why the city let's them get away with it. And Central World? After it being destroyed by fire last time around, I'd have armed guards everywhere protecting that piece of property. jt
