I ate the most scrumptious almond croissant (a favourite of mine), with an almond filling so lovely, I licked all my fingers after!
As you can see, there was also seating for those who wanted to eat at the market.
One thing I really enjoyed was that so many people had samples of their food for you to try. Given some of the more exotic sounding foods on display, this was such a good idea. The best thing I sampled, was a Korean cinnamon pancake, which was delicious. I also sampled bread, cake, croissants and dips. Delicious!
Interestingly, a lot of the vendors were ex-pats, including my glass teacher Louise Truslow.
On display also were a couple of Shetland ponies (I guess they could have been a different breed, but what do I know?) and about 5 teacup pigs, which I have never seen before and were for sale for THB12,000 I think. Golly, was someone going to have one on their balcony? They aren't going to get much of a roast out of one of those!
Kim, Is this a newer market? I don't think that it was there a few years back. These are the posts I love - everyday life. I am SO excited to be heading back soon. More places to see! Janice
