Out & About in BKK This Weekend

Your ace reporter has been out and about in BKK this weekend.  First to report, I have some new glasses.  No not these ones, but they were just too funky not to model. I like them, they make me look like a fat fly!

Once again, things are hotting up in BKK.  Finally I got to see some of the demonstrators. Pretty small potatoes compared to our previous experience.  We spotted this guy outside Gaysorn
My personal favourite was the woman with a Democracy monument tin foil hat.  Ha ha, that would have been me!!!
 People gathered outside Amrin Plaza to write signs.
I also went to Chatachuk market this weekend and was horrified to see a mall being built where some of the market used to be.  Very roughly, I think this is behind JJ Mall.  Sadly I see a time when this wonderful market will be covered over and made into another MBK.

    Love your about town photos. The protesters do look pretty lame when compared to protests of the past - so long ago!

    It's a good thing I'm coming back before Chatachuk is changed too much. An absolute favorite place and I hate the thought of it going the way of the night market, They just don't understand how valuable a market like that is
    to everybody, tourist and vendor alike.
