Talad Rot Fai - The Railway Market

Set alongside a disused rail track near JJ market, is Talad Rot Fai.
Alan with the latest in hip men's handbags!
Supposedly a place for hipsters to hang out, Alan and I hotfooted it along, just to show how hip we really are.

The market is described as antique/retro, but I think falls heavily on the retro/vintage look.  I was amazed at how much European style stuff was sitting around.
Some of the old buildings have been utilised as shops.  I have no idea of the prices as we didn't find anything we wanted to buy.
This is one of the bars which is full of old furniture, clocks and cinema sized film projectors.

The market is clearly set to expand, as they were working on another indoor market, set inside a warehouse like building.
In the large open areas between the buildings, stalls are set up on the ground.  These had more Asian styled goods.  The shops are open during the day, but the market really only gets going at night, as the stall holders set up, the bars open and the grills get fired up.  Well, when you have skies as dramatic as these, what better time would there be to hold it?
