Let's Go to a Car Parade!

Our grandson, Ethan, loves cars.  I mean he LOVES cars.  When he was just learning how to speak "car" was his chosen word for toys, men (they, including Dad, drove the cars) as well as the actual thing.  So when the annual car parade (procedes to the chairity "coats for kids") was held recently, he was absolutely thrilled when his aunt, my sister Ruth Ann, and her husband Dan invited him along to sit in the back of his l959 DeSota Adventurer for the parade around the small town of Bountiful.

First came the police and firetrucks:
Here is Llana, Dan's DeSoto.  That's my sister Ruth Ann waving to us.
Ethan is in the back (the T hat) waving a poster saying "I love cars."
A Rat Rod, made up of parts from other cars.
A couple of very cool looking cobras.
I really don't know, but it looks cool!
An old Woody.

We've now been home for an entire year. Hard to believe. Next week is the Fourth of July and the Centerville parade was one of our first blog entries from Utah.  We're going to miss the parade this year as we are heading up to the cabin and the Oakley Rodeo.  Stay tuned.
