What Next???

Now I don't like to sound like I'm getting worried here, but just about every year we have been in Bangkok, something has happened.  We've had an airport takeover, civil unrest, floods and now...

we have the haze.  This is the scene from one of the balconies this morning.

I have been saying for weeks, that we have been having haze problems, but did anyone listen to me?  Oh no, they (as in HE) did not.
The Haze is so bad up north, the government is issuing something like 50,000 face masks.

Now people tell you not to worry about things like haze, after all what harm can it do?
Well for one thing, it has given us two suns!  This is a view over the Sheraton from my quilt studio.  I walked in and saw this and it took me a moment to realise that this was a reflection in the triple glazed windows.  At least I hope that is what it was!

Alan just came home.  He said the haze is so bad outside he wants me to take good care of myself and has asked me to wear a face mask.  Oh, what a loving and caring husband he is.
Funny, this mask doesn't look anything like the masks other people are wearing and I can't understand why he thinks I need to wear it both inside the home and out!

  1. I think I saw that same person wandering around
Chiang Mai. Yea, she's the stalker I kept seeing there, following me down dark streets and through cattle markets. So, she has made it all the way down to Bangkok has she. A mask to protect oneself from the haze is just an excuse. She like wearing that mask to avoid detection!

  2. This is probably what you wear nightly to refresh your facial skin! Thanks for the demo. C
