Daniel, Grace and the grandkids (Ethan, Ingrid and Poky) have just returned from a fantastic vacation and family reunion in the Philippines. Grace had not been back for a number of years and so obviously this was the grandkids first exposure to where their mother was born and raised for the first eight years of her life. They loved seeing new things and playing with new found cousins. While they were gone, Roger was asked to tend to the "farm" needs back home.
Daniel and Grace purchases our home from us while we were living in Thailand. I had tried for years to establish a rock garden where the farm now exists. It never really worked well so this is probably a much better use of the space.
For any who know, chickens are mean animals and like to peck at each other as well as those who get in their way of eating. Roger was told, you first throw some feed in to get them occupied, then open the top of the door to add more feed and water. Then, while they are still occupied go around to the opposite side of the coop to collect the eggs from the enclosure where they roost at night.
You then move to the back rabbit hutch and feed and water the "bunnies". I
volunteered to do it sometimes, but Roger being the smart and generous husband that he is, said No, he'd do it as he didn't want me to fall and die! Such is the confidence Roger has in my climbing abilities.
One thing that I truly appreciated and used were the eggs we collected. A few cakes, pancakes, and omelets were made while the "Teas" were gone.
Thanks!

Thanks for taking care of the homestead and not falling off the wall and dying, you guys are the best!
