Ethan is on the far right. The second year seems to make all the difference. There is
beginning to be a bit of strategy and more coordination involved. And the kids are keenly aware of goals that are made.
Ana and Livi aren't into soccer right now. Dance is their thing and we just went to their last dance recital of the year. It was held in the local high school auditorium and
the seats were filled well before the recital began. They were so cute and you could tell they loved every minute of it.
Grandma days continue for the three preschoolers. We have moved from indoor activities such as coloring and cartoon watching to outdoors. Painting the driveway with water has been a big hit for the last couple of weeks,
as well as eating otter pops on the big rock in Grandma's front yard.
Then it's a short walk to the local park and playground equipment.
Back to soccer and Ingrid's games on Saturday morning. She may be the smallest
player on the field, but she is not intimidated by anything. She is right there in the middle of the action and will be making the goals, I'm sure, in no time at all.
One last photo. I came to collect Mom for a drive around her old neighborhood and
caught her red handed. She had been out in her backyard weeding again and thought she could hide the evidence before I arrived. She is 96 and amazing!!!
