I assume you thought when we started this blog it would be mostly about travel and sights from our new homes and locations, maybe even about interests such as quilting. But I am a grandma and grandmas have the right to be proud and show off their grandchildren. I have done it in the past, and I'm sure you'll see more of it in the future. Well, the month of February is President's month in the U.S. and Ana's (my daughter Allison's daughter) class along with the entire first grade put on a program on patriotism this afternoon. Ana is the one in the middle with pigtails.
It was a short, 20 minute, program with mostly singing and a few speaking parts. Ana did a fantastic job on her part! This was first program I've been able to attend and with five plus (we're planning on Jason supplying a few in the future) grandchildren, I see a future of many afternoon programs with a proud grandma looking on.
You are allowed to be a proud granny on the blog. Let's face it, if I can keep a whole series of posts going about a roll of batting, grandchildren are definitely a huge step up!
ReplyDeleteEr, I know you can be a bit ruthless, but...just how did you get the lighting as such so that Ana was well and truly in the spotlight?!
Thanks for coming Mom!!! Ana was really happy you came, and hopefully next time we can get Dad too!
